Max Rush Joins The Resurgam Group
Rush brings over a decade of campaign, legislative experience to Portland-based firm.
PORTLAND — Today, the Resurgam Group announced an expansion of their public affairs team with the addition of a seasoned campaign operative and legislative staffer, Max Rush. Over more than a ten-year career, Rush’s experience in politics and public policy has touched a broad range of geographical areas and ideological spectrums in Maine.
Legislative campaigns and work under the dome at the State House in Augusta have taken Rush from his home county in Aroostook to midcoast Maine, Kennebec, and as far south as York County. From grassroots fundraising and signature gathering to successfully implementing statewide legislative campaign plans, Rush’s campaign work has stretched numerous election cycles, including general and special elections.
Rush’s state house experience includes three years as the Senate President's chief of staff, during which time he worked directly to shape the state budget, brought advocates and stakeholders together on a wide range of policy initiatives, and managed caucus priorities.
